Well a total big ups to Gina Barney, who I spoke to on the phone last night. Though I did not intend to insult her, my general tone of the post in question was less than positive and I can understand how Gina did not appreciate it.

It was actually very kind of her to offer to help and its only really another sad reflection on my blasé attitude to the world. Had I of known that my post to a messageboard was infact published to a magazine (which seems totally insane) then I would not of been so nonchalant.

Her career and reputation are top dollar and I wish her the best of luck with her future endeavors.

As for thirteentwelve.com - for the forseeable future it will continue to contain my vitriol against bad drivers, random rantings and foul fuckin' language.

You know your a bit geeky when you think bluetoothing the Nokia default ringtone to your Sony Ericsson mobile would be funny.

Well, my scratch card run ended again.

After winning the first £2 back, I spent another quid on a scratch card. And won £12.

So I bought 12 more scratch cards, which is a fair few to have to scratch off.

As the odds of winning are 1 in 5, you'd have thought 2 would of won.

But alas only 1 won. And it won me a quid. So I spent that quid on another scratch card - and won nothing.

Bum.

A quick lesson in fate for you.

Today I was supposed to be buying a new car. But as it turns out I probably cant really afford it. Well, I can, but I dont want to cut down anywhere to allow myself to afford it. So, though I really want that Polo Gti, sensibly I'm not gonna buy it yet.

I decided by thinking, asking various mates and thinking some more.

Then, after deciding a loan was a silly idea right now, I let fate decide for me.

I went to Asda this morning and bought £7 something or others worth of stuff. Bottles of water, pepsi, food etc.

This left me with £2 something change. So I bought 2 Scratch cards. If they won me lots of money, I'd buy the car, if they won me nothing, I wouldnt.

So I scratched one off and won.

Won £2.

Thats fate saying "fuck you, I'm not deciding for you".
