well today is my last day on big money as a freelancer for on Monday I start at We Love The Web full time for 3 months. Except I get Fridays off.

And this is my first post from work cos Sober's just been to We Love The Web and sorted us a router so that the Mac here and pcs here can now all interact and surf the net in harmony.

Well(ish) again now. Just have minor cold annoyances not full blown flyu type shit.

Been impressed by a crow flying above my car at over 40mph the other day, old Scooter and Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theo happy hardcore cds and J-pac from Freespirits Band, who played their hardcore-punk style set last night at the Star and Garter and fuck me J-pac took me by surprise.

Dude you never make much noise and you certainly dont bounce in the shop.

CSS swap type thing done. Flu sucks. Going back to sleep.

Ok with a bit of javascript in the page to swap the css which I pinched and bunged in (though don't know if this is the best way to acheive css swapping) you can now change the look of this site by hitting the 2 links just below:

flowers

Though clearly now navigating away from this page changes the look back to skulls and the comments window will also be using skulls.

I might make the comments windows use a style not related to either skulls or flowers and then perhaps use cookies to keep which style sheet to use to display the pages here.

To be honest I dont really know, I presume there must be a way I just dunno what it is and I'm gonna go play Counter Strike source somemore then go out tonight and so will think about this next week sometime. g to tha x will no doubt be getting an email with me asking how best to do css swapping - I just fancied putting together another css thing to take advantage of the html for this page having no style elements in it what so ever).

Monster efforts from Frankee and Ward.

Today, well Sunday really I started work at the shop at 9 for customer service training, where once again my piercings become an issue as the Blacks group has now decieded that my arm piercings are no longer allowed to be on show and that soon my facial piercings may have to be hidden as Freespirit strives to become a "different" shop in its evolution from the original shop ideals - yes it is and always has been a fashion store, abeit not mainstream but board culture fashion. Just now its supposed to act like a mainstream fashion store and not a board culture store.

Apparently the reasearch they've carried out confirms this. Perhaps it does. Just seems wrong somehow. Going to Freespirits, like going to ONeil shops and Quicksilver shops I always expected surfer/skate type dudes (and usually hot chicks) and a cool laid back attitude, not pretencious or snobby, but that friendly easy going laid back.

Its a shame the aspirational lifestyle part of our shop is being killed off. You can no longer work in the shop selling the surf/skate culture image, if, your an ideal walking advert for it.

Anyways, left the shop at 5, got food (amonst other things eh guys?) and then went to welovetheweb.com and started work there around 7. A couple o hours kip in the middle of the night cos my brain died then it went day light, Ward the poor shit had to leave like 4:30 cos he had his fulltime job to attend today and me and Frankee carried on till 10.

Though the last hour was a battle, as we where both babbling at our screens and things where just taking so long to do as our mice just wouldnt seem to click where we thought they should be doing and there was always one last job to do before the final post.

Still we made the deadline, which was 6 pm tommorow, um, today even. And Frankeee can stop saying "tonight" on the phone to people now, it was 9:30 Monday MORNING and very definatly day as we both watched sun rise in Moss Side (indeed I stood in the garden of welovetheweb.com for a bit of sunrise - bloody freezing).

Both me and the blog are teething right now.

I'm growing a wisdom tooth thats making my mouth swell and hurt and the blogs changed its look, still fancy dann css/div usage, just not as corporate looking as the last site.

Like my wisdom tooth there will be issues and bugs, all of which I'll fix, only most likely slowly as my work machine doesnt see blogger due to a funky firewall.
