THIRTEENTWELVE

Was just watching a program about some 0-60 challenge for street legal cars on one of the millions of cable channels.

It profiled a few of the competitors and followed their progress up to and during the event. The people they profiled mainly had street legal drag machines, 700bhp+ rear wheel drive 8 litre Chevy engined cars (xcept for the optimistic guy in an unmodified Honda S2000).

One of the street legal drag machines said "I'd feel sorry for anyone who turned up in like a Volkswagon to this event."

Come the actual event and one man in just such a VW pissed on all the street legal drag machines.

Hmm swheet irony.

According to eeggs.com if you play Marilyn Mansons "The Beautiful People" backwards you can hear "I'm evil belive it" in the chorus.

And to my surprise you can.

The guy who submitted the easter egg then goes on "Having experimented with this, I discovered that if you record yourself saying it, in a similar style to Manson, and play it backwards, It still works."

Given that some other guy had experiemented with said technique, I thought it prudent I did to. And with a little imagination, you can almost hear it. erm...

I'll have to try again tommorow morning before I've drunk anything and my throats still raww, or later on today if I sing too much at my computer.

Driving home in the snow and ice was fun last night.

On my way I thought I'd hit some Asda carpark crazy driving shit, but as I pulled into the car park I saw a cop van. Even though it was 3am and it was dead, I didnt want them asking questions, so I did a u turn and drove quickly-ish away. Skidding and shit all over.

I knew the copper would set off as soon as he saw me doing that anyways, but I figured I'd risk it.

Sure enough as I started to tackle the iced up roundabout the copper set off and I knew I was what they where after.

But there loads of snow and ice on the car park and none on the roads out of the car park. So I ice skated my car off the car park and cained it a little bit on the normal road, looking back and watching the Fez ice skate around the car park trying to get to the exit.

The blue lights went on as they almost did the lil roundabout, but by this time I'd got well off the ice and was almost out of their site.

Hopped on the motorway and cained it off.

I fought the law. And I won. (mother fuckers yeah!)

Well the surface bars in my arm have been retired. It was decided to be the best idea in the piercing shop yestaday and I was told that if I didnt take them out, they would take them out on the night out by force lol as they "minged more than a bag fully of mingy stuff".

I had more photos of my piercings taken, spent probably about 4 hours in the shop and got a vertical madison put on my chest (though well below the tshirt line, so freespirit its all safe).

My new friend Rufio entertained me on DizzyBlondes birthday at GC/RW by singing some shit about spoons, dancing and generally being one of the more nuts people that I've met.

I really would have to step up my insane game to keep up with her but alas it seems I'm taking a page out of Markus's book and calming down a little. Or maybe thats Keith Richards book. I dunno.

I've just watched the Gumball 3000 dvd and currently want to go out and rag around the local motorways at 180mph.

I dont think my Polo is up for that...

But it has re-kindled the need for me to do the Gumball rally. All I need is £8000, another driver, a car thats up for doing 3000 miles in 5-6 days and then x of money to pay of fines/bribe police with.

The 150 or so cars clocked up $50,000 of fines and 14 arrests in America on last years Gumball, one fella I think had like $14,000 in fines alone (well you would be driving the only Koenigsegg in America).

So what would be my car of choice for the 2004 Europeon Gumball Rally? My Polo of course! (Or a Skyline, or a TVR or...)

Well, randomly I think its time to plug Made In China cos I've just been listening to the recently recorded stuff that Markus McMark sent me (yeah dude, I chose to actually listen to it lol).

Been google searching them and I've come up with 3 reviews, here, here and here. All positive. Good shit! :-)

This on the last link made me chuckle " “Made in China” had previously had good reviews on a local music web site, perhaps stemmed by the fact they are all meant to have dated each other." and I guess General Molroy gets left out too, "2 female and 1 male" hahaha.

Theres a town with a lunatic asylum, a laundrette and an engineering works in it.

One day a lunatic escapes the asylum and as hes running out he spots the laundretter, with all the women washing clothes.

He runs in and rapes 3 of the women, then he runs off.

The next day, the local paper reports the incident as "Lunatic escapes and rapes 3 women".

The notice board in the engineering works, where the husbands of the raped women worked read "Nut screws washers and bolts".

(with thanks to my male parental, insightful as ever)

Driving black cars in city centres at 2 am is fun.

I should probably fit a yellow light to my roof, pick people up and bury them on Saddleworth Moors.

It is funny how they seem to think cos your a black car you will stop, instead I have to swerve all over the road to avoid drunk people waving at me.

I was supposed to go to bed early to catch up on sleep due to be really tired, but Rock Star kept me awake till the wie hours on Sky Movies.

Yesturday seemed like a mullet rock day, as the song of the day for me was Twisted Sisters "I wanna rock" :-)

"he just said he was going for a piss...."

Rushing my way through doing my computing project for college and this table in the tutors lecture powerpoint presentation made me laugh. He accredits it to Bruce Tognazzini in his book "Tog on Interface".

On my tv is "Drunk and Dangerous" about drunken scalli twats fighting in Cardif while drunk (you know the sort of show to make people fear city centers etc).

The last line, "[humans] makes it be scary outside at night" seems particulary relevant.

Had my first bath in ages today (I usually shower...).

Quite why the fuck I said I'd play 5 a side football on Sunday night for my shop I dont know. Yes it was a laugh. But as I was running and my vision was being surrounded by grey and now and then it would go all temperarily go all black with my legs cramping up - it felt like I'd made a mistake.

Next time we'll play we're splitting teams up so that its an equal mix of those who play football and those who have ran in the past year, and those who havent (ie. people like me).

OK so the other Freespirit shop whopped our asses; I guess I should feel pissed off that to cripple their team they put me on it. But I dont, if I was them I would of too. haha

My Sunday night sleep was awful. My left shoulder ached so much it felt cold and I couldnt sleep. I got out of bed late on Monday morning having managed to get the last couple of hours in bed asleep. Raced to uni late and knackered.

While at uni a night out on Tuesday, a sort of end of semester 1 night out was put together and I said I'll go on that, though it probably means going to Satins which is a bit of shit place to dance.

Knowing this and already feeling tired and ache ridden, quite why the fuck I went out dancing last night I dont know. I actually hobbled back to my car and contemplated sleeping in it on my driveway here when I got back. The dancing cheered me up a little bit but the slow speed my body could only move at this morning was a bit rank. Haha.

Which brings me back to my first bath in ages. It was good :-)

Ahh Bonjela. Thank goodness for Bonjela.

As always I find the slight disadvantage of having my lip pierced is that I get swelling around the hole on the inside of my lip which makes it all tender. The numbing effects of Bonjela to the rescue again. All I need to do is get through this couple of weeks of awkwardness with this lip ring and then we're cool.

Had my lip pierced again yesturday. Next to where it used to be, on the left hand side - but this time 1.6 mm and not 1.2 mm to differntiate between me and the mosher kids of manchester haha

And I can reliably tell you its 8 degrees C outside, as after last nights LAN party at Sobernet I decided to finally take out my "it came free with some shit my mum joined" digital thermonitor which I was using to watch my hard drives over heat from my computer, and put it to good use telling me outside temperature and inside temperature (18.6 degrees in here, now 8.3 outside).

LAN party went well, with of course copious amounts of time required to set it up (as always) but a job made easy by sober's exisiting internal LAN and his knowledge experience in doing this kinda shit.

The main game of the night was counterstrike and we had 5 players (then 4) and some good, intense and at times for me *very* stressful gaming (all take snoochi boochies (my cs name) is it??).

Good shit :-)
