Its only a couple of days till I go now. (to Venice, not for good either, ahem)

We got our Nokia cameras and they do take shockingly bad photos. But for on phone wallpaper use, its ok.

I had my car washed earlier in the week and its still fairly clean, which is a miracle.

I think I had more to say, but I cant remember what. So for now I will end on.

Jackass tonight!

Billy Joel once said "it aint worth being a straight A student because that would mean thinking too much"

(Its Still Rock And Roll To Me - Billy Joel)

When Billy says something this, hmm, reaching, this, hmm, a bollocks to that. I'm just obaying him and I'm not going to bother justifying it anymore than, Billy told me to.

(of course, they other genius Billy, is Billy Idol - though there is nothing even near command like in Rebel Yell)

Big ups to Mr Wogan, from BBC radio 2 for that one.

And todays top tip, listen to Key 103 (windows media player needed) after 10pm for James Stannage, Sundays to Thursdays.

A top radio show.

If your going to stick "GTI" badges on your car to try and fool people into thinking it is something special, faster or just more nick-able then, at least take of your "GL" badge first.

Otherwise, you just look like a muppet.

On todays trip home, I spotted, whilst sat in traffic:

A lollypop man, who was on his mobile phone, turning away a kid on crutches. Which, you gotta admit, is pretty low.

And the lady who had broken down and was trying to fiddle with the engine, leaning over the front of the car, one hand in the engine bay and the other trying to stop her skirt from blowing up and out revealing her leg.

For yes, she chose today to wear *that* skirt with the big slit up her leg. Sorta feel sorry for her, she'd have got away without any embarassment, if only her car hadnt broke down.

(remember back to getting a flat tyre one night and having no coat or anything in the car)

Morgan Stanley got back to me about a Morgan Stanley credit card.

Though it didnt say whether I would be getting the platinum or the standard, nor is their any indication what colour this card is.

But it is cheaper than my current card, is cooler cos its Morgan Stanley and is master card and not pappy visa, which looks far too seventies to be cool.

Why do they do it?

Why do girls wear silly hats. Sure they may not think they look silly when they buy them or place them on their heads, but they seem to be blinded by, what I can only guess, stupidity as its not cool to wear silly hats, fashionable nor do is it *do* anything for them.

They just tend to look like people who think they are something special - which in a way is true, they are. They should be locked away together for being so special, and stupid.

Ok so on the new phone then (as you will of read below, that is, after you read this, which means if you keep reading you'll read I got a new phone)

So anyways, colour screens. I find colour telly and colour films easier to watch and get into, I guess black and white stuff is a step further in asociation terms than colour.

(ok not to say my imagination lacks; black and white telly/films where primarily done due to technological difficulties and no other reason. Black and white stuff now, sure has other reasons, but cant be considered better (or worse) in anyway as a medium for telly/films. Technology evolved thats all.)

I just bought a colour screen mobile, which looks sweeter than my other mobile that doesnt have a colour screen.

But the other day I did find myself using the one colour cash machine over the other 2 for no apparent reason. I just was drawn to it.

Theres perhaps, something in the fact that some things are colour and others are not and so look poo.

Pity its on the 0-50,000 viewer, or in telly terms zero rated Channel 4 early morning show, Rise (which, lets face it could never be as good as Denise and Johnny on Big Breakfast).

Respect to Ian Lee for his "boo whoo you big fuckin babies" rant on that computer games show that he did a while back. Which, was cool enough to even entertain mrs 13twelve despite the computer game content.

On below trip into town I encountered a cool bloke in the car park.

I think I once posted about people starting conversations with "I mean..." a while back.

So bearing that in mind.

As we're waiting for a lift to come, which seems to be taking an age I say "come on lift, sometime soon, I'm not bloody walking to the 9th floor" at which point the guy responds "do you know what i mean, mate"

Well no, cos you've not said anything yet.

My god has it been so long since I posted here? A whole 2 days if not more?

Ok I'm back to post again. A new toy, erm mobile lead to an adventure.

I wanted a data cable. Simple task, to link my phone and my pc.

I tried the usual array of shops, starting with the Nokia shop (built into a carphone warehouse) they didnt have any. They said try elsewhere.

So I tried everywhere, eventually ending up at another carphonewarehouse, where the manager said "buy an infra red adapter instead, its a bit slower, but cool cos there is no wires. we've sold out, go to the nokia shop"

I said "cool" and went.

On entering the Nokia shop the sales man looked at me as if to say, "we still dont have the cables" so I parped up "why didnt you tell me there was an ir adapter?" in a dickhead tone of voice.

Anyways, I got one and its cool. Have to keep it hidden though, cos it looks like a mouse and I know my mum will try and use that rather than my actual mouse....

This mornings lecture was spent watching and talking a little about a 1960s documentory which was banned and not released till this year. It was about a nuclear attack on Rochester in Kent and Gatwick airport. (Its called War Games)

The 3 bombs where a megaton each, so pale in comparison to current bombs.

The damage was mingy, the 30 second air raid siren warning caused people to panic about, loads got 3rd degree burns to their eyes, then they got twatted by the shockwave and then they either died of being burnt, scruvy, intestines giving up or in fights as primitive behaviour ensues.

Quite a relevent lecture on the eve of a war in which the Yankees already authorised nuclear responce to (its seems) any act of Iraqi aggression.

In the documentory, people where asked "If Russia bombed England with nuclear bombs, would you want England to retalliate and kill and equal number of Russians".

Everyone said "Yes".

I hope the Iraqis dont think "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth"....

For the first time since a movement against Barclays bank in the 60s (I think) the NUS is asking for student action against the war and we've also been told to go check out UK Resiliance to learn just what threats we are under.

Altogether its pretty mingy, scary shit. (whoa 1312 does serious talk)

Skating session #3.

I need to defo buy new jeans now, I just ripped my designated skate pair again.

Tonight I did an hour session on the mini ramp near my parents house, the first ramp I dropped in on and the ramp I spend the most time on.

Whats unusual about it is, it appears to take no effort to get up and down this one. But.

But it does somehow really kill your back.

I managed to get a couple of solid good grinds in and a couple of falls, including one off the side of the ramp, which looked far more embarrassing than it hurt.

The walk back up the hill to my car was absolute murder, steep steep hill and back that just didnt want to support my decreasing body weight.

I gotta find me some wax'd kerbs..

My parentals have just bought a new *tiny* washing machine.

Cleverly it looks to be half the size of the old ones, but weights twice that of the old one.

Instead of skating or surfing for a few hours while Mrs 1312 is at work, I've been helping to fit that.

What was nice of the people who supplied the thing, was to imbed very sharp metal staples that look like sharp glass bottle glass embedded into the box the washer is in.

I know this cos I just sliced my right hand open with it.

I used to like the taste of my own blood.

Not anymore.

Well it seems that I'm a minger.

Today I got to college to be greated by the news that there was no tutor. Instead we had to form teams for the long term project and go to the science museum.

I ended up not being in the famed Team Big Balls, as the staff present didnt want us to simply make teams with those people we knew and could trust in the group. (so when we where told to make our own teams, what it should of said was "dont bother")

Anyways, my group and some others who just followed me to the museum where at the museum.

We're walking around, amidst 100s of kiddies (half term joy) being stared at all the time as the freaky older people.

Anyways, we got talking about tattoos. One girl said, "never get someones name tattoo'd unless its a common name like David" and then she went on to discuss another girls boyfriends name not being common and so not good to get tattoo'd.

I simply announced (and innocently) that my middle name is David.

Girl 2 then says "oh, I was about to say that all Davids where usually good looking".

Hence, "what, and I'm a minger then?"

Bah!

Well according to handbag dot com I'm over weight, but not obese.

And fortunatly I'm not *that* over weight.

But the alternative, which for me is exercise by skating is seeminlgy really tough.

Skate session #2. Got on the mini ramp for a while, still can drop in no probs. No balence to do anything though. Still tried, had some comedy falls but no pain.

Then had another go on the midi/vert ramp (I cant decide which it is, what I do know, its big and scary). Like on friday night, drop in no problems. But by this time I'm tired. Its been 2 hours at the skate park and I'm done.

Still I tried. Did a run of up and downs with 180 jumps to keep going sorted, then went for a 360, something I could do on friday night.

Well somewhere between taking off and landing on my head, it went wrong.

Though the noise (which I didnt hear, no no no, everything was white for me, oh and silent) attracted a crowd of a bout 50 kids going "shit mister, you alright".

Well simple answer is yeah. My heads fine. My wrist hurt before but now its kay. But my jeans got torn.

I doubt mrs 13twelve will fix them, I might try. But she will use this as an excuse to make me clothes shop. Argh!

This will make it our 4th trip to the airport together, sadly we only flew anywhere 1 of those times.

Let me explain. The first time we where *that* bored. We spent ages too-ing and fro-ing on the miles long flat escalator things and seeing how close to bording a plane we could get, without a ticket.

Second time was just before we flew on our holiday last year, to scope out the terminal and what not. So the third time we flew on holiday.

Not quite got the tricks down like I had 3 years + ago.

The first ramp was wet and slippery. The rail I tried was too sticky and half way down I just stopped, sent arse over tit and onto the floor.

I at least remember what falling was like, and this was a proper, on your arse hard fall. But I'm kay.

The last ramp, a midi ramp, had ice on one side. But was generally cool and so I worked out on it.

After about 3 do's I was knackered. I struggled on and did somemore.

I really had forgotten how hard it was.

Eventually I got brave, did a couple of spinny air things to impress Mrs 1312 and then decided I was too tired to carry on.

Does money ruin human evolution?

Think about it (alone, quietly all day) (no go on)

I have.

I get a bad back, all my stress and what not, like work, shitty drivers and what not, goes to my lower back. Its a right pain. No really.

My bad back potencially makes me less inclined to do anything. So in a nature terms, I'd be crap.

If I didnt have a bad back, I would be more inclined to do things. So in nature terms, I wouldnt be so crap.

Evolution would make more of the less crap mes survive and do well than the crap mes.

But I have parents, mrs 13twelve and friends to push me in to doing things.

Meaning the bad back me may do very well.

Say all the good back me's where born into situations where they never had any push to do anything. They could all die out, leaving the bad back crap mes to do things.

We're clearly doomed with all these bad back crap mes running around....

On the topic of the said Pepsi tasting session.

Mrs 13twelve was writing a report about Pepsi. So we decieded we needed to taste some.

I went out and bought Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Pepsi Twist and some normal Pepsi as we where just running low.

Diet Pepsi does taste different to Pepsi Max, Diet is less sweet and has no after taste, where Max does. I think Max uses a different sweetener which has more calories than Diet.

Twist tastes a bit like funny Pepsi, but has a different aftertaste. You really do taste the "lemon twist" after swallowing.

Its not something I would choose to drink over Pepsi, but over Coke - Hell yeah.

As a further point on Pepsi. We watched a "Coke vs Pepsi" show on the History Channel last night (unfortunatly, after the report was finished)

It talked about how the companies try and monopolise places, siging exclusive rights with not just schools and office blocks, but cities and states too. So to further this, I plan to email Pepsi and urge them to do the same with my city and my university. Wish me luck!

Today I've mainly been compleating Sega Gt 2002.

After spending wods of cash on Japanese Nissan Skylines and American Ford GT Concepts, I eneded up compleating the majority of the second part of the game in a British Caterham 7 and other parts with the British Lotus Exige.

Small, light, high bhp/ton whips techno 4wd and brute force everytime.

Though special note must go to my now 1000bhp+ Ford GT90 and my 700bhp+ Nissan Skyline R34, both of which are top for dohnutting till the cows come home.

I also ended up with a Honda Integra in black with 427bhp (the ultimate fast and the furious street racer?), several 500bhp Honda NSX and a 300bhp Renault 5 which was crap.

If you came here after following the url written on one of my new "thirteentwelve.com" business cards, then welcome!

Yes yes, I now have business cards. They are among the worst peices of shit I have ever seen and came from a machine in a shopping mall costing a mere £2 for 20. The card is poo, the printing is poo and the options when making your card are also poo.

Ah well. I shall be giving them out over the coming weekend. (if it gets hits, I dont care)

How farking hard is it to sign up to pay pal?

I've just been trying to follow their instructions, but they have sent me in a circle.

Got to a point now where I can see that now I have signed up, I can shop at thousands of Pay Pall shops.

Except I cant, cos I'm able to spend $0.00 as I havnt yet got a 4 digit code on my credit card statement which wont update online untill at least tommorow, though Pay Pal admits this might be 4 days.

So after being enticed by "easy to sign up" and "shop instantly" I can testify both claims are utter shite. The process is both confusing, overly long and stupid.

How cool is this? (well I think it is)

Just told my mother that my cars going in on Friday to get new disks and pads which is gonna cost me steeply. Though neither pads or disks are that expensive, and pads aren't that hard to change. Getting old disks off can be a bastard and I imagine a fair chunk of the labour charges will come from that. So thats £138. (so thats not cool)

And at 4:30 today my car also started to flash that it needs a service. My last service was £155. This service is an A grade one, not a B grade one, which means less stuff needs to be done. So lets guess another £130 bill. (so thats not cool)

My road tax needs to be re-nuewed in march, so thats another £105. (so thats not cool)

Thats a total of £373 (definatly not cool).

Oh and insurance in April of £1300. Totally not cool.

So what is cool? My mum was thinking of giving me a trip to Venice for my 21st! Now that is cool :-)

(still after analyising the car money to be paid I cant help but think, poo I'm gonna run out of money or credit limit)

But imagining a system where I could just think it and it be posted here is cool. Hmmm. Get my thinking cap on and invent.

You maybe wondering. "13twelve, is it hard to keep coming up with such witty, intelligent, interesting and humorous posts everyday?"

Well the answer kiddies is Yes.
I do work hard at trying to articulate what I say in a way in which I find it funny, either or personal reasons, private joke reasons or other. I've started to observe the world far more in order to bring you the best of what I see. On days, like today, where I do very little with myself, posting things is more tough - when I have done nothing, its hard to share the experience with you in an interesting humorous way.

Well the answer kiddies is No.
I am actually full of shit and if pressed I could probably post something at least half interesting and funny at any point. If you then dont find it interesting or funny then, it is indeed, you who are wrong. Most of what I say sorta just spills out onto the keyboard much as what I say to people verbally and most of the humour people get from the site isnt intentional yet I still take credit, I mean why not, I said it.

Well the answer kiddies is Yes/No.
They're both true. So ner.

(though clearly today is a day where I done not alot, as I resorted to the post you just read)

I just driven home fairly slowly today - in no real rush to get here.

Driving up the road I noticed an old woman, hobbling with a walking stick and bag - walking in the road on the outside of a parked up Toyata MR2 coupe.

I figured she must be walking on the road cos the pavement is all icy and the road isnt, the MR2 with its big wheels ( 18's ), big exhaust, tinted windows, lowered suspension which I have seen before parked their, surly couldnt of been hers.

Anyways, I drove past and looked back.

(be cool to now say "she fell over" or "she walked past it)

But nay, she pulled out some keys and got into the car.

Respect to the old lady and the MR2.

After watching the Smartphone demo of the Orange Spv in action I sorta really want one now. I think it wins.

The way I see it, this phone has a smart media flash card thingie. This can be taken out and bigger ones put in. So, although your not gonna have your phone having iPod beating amounts of songs - you may very well be able to encode, say Transformers the movie to be about 140mb big - take the size of it down and the sound quality down and what not. This means you'd be able to watch the entire movie, or others, on your phone.

How pistaking is that? Come on!

For the last time (well probably not but, hey)

Its not cool to dis Michael Jackson.

Yes so his telly show last night is the talk at the coffee machines accross the land (and soon the world) and a whole bunch of smart arse people from poncy sounding institutions will tell you he is a nasty man and what not.

There is the rest of the world, rest of the pop stars, even in this world where it seems almost easy for any below average talent anybody can become a celebrity - then there is Michael Jackson and it will always be this way.

Yes hes cleary a little or a lot nuts, which leads him to make foolish mistakes. But from a man that causes such a comotion every where he goes, a man who entered the public eye at 5 and who probably has access to limit less money (yeah, cos you can see him actually go backrupt and to prison and what not, come off, hes Michael Jackson) - its only to be expected hes at least a little mental.

The man has done lots and lots of good things, I would love to go to Neverland and you simply cannot deny he is talented (even if you think hes shit - he is still talented)

Big ups the king of pop.

Many accuse me of not living a student lifestyle. Many have also witnessed me living beyond my means and certainly watched my better half living beyond her means.

So to text this, I just applied for a Morgan Stanley Platinum card.

And heres hoping I get it. On the plus side, I am a student, get me into debt now and they'll have me for a long time.

On the minus side, I dont earn any where near enough money.

But will that stop them?

(I have a feeling the Morgan Stanley normal card is black anyways - not that you can apply for that on the web site)

Ok so something new and funny (for a minute) to do to waste time.

Go to yahoo chat and find a room called "webdesign" then heavily crit and abuse all the budding "innovative" geocities "top design houses" and "leading design agencies".

Gee whiz this 14 year old kids are slow, stupid and crap at webdesign. But they hold a grudge. Haha

It does turn up some pearlers though.

As soon as I leave the hosue, it will go. But I go no where to go till about 1:30.

So right now I best put up with my nose bunging up every minute.

Argh!

Well the good news is my Counterstrike is once again working just fine. So a quick trip to cs_arabstreets had to be done.

Joined an oldish server, not running the latest version of Cs and not running any admin/anti-cheat mods.

Question. How do you beat someone, 1 on 1, when they can see which way your gun is pointing and moving at all times (thanx to a big green line drawn coming from the gun), who is also using a lag based bot (which slows you down in comparison to them) and of course, trusty old aim bot ?

Answer. Die many times trying. Before settling on being just crazy.

Run facing the wrong way, throw as many grenades, flashbangs and smoke grenades all over the place and if you can drop through it and fall, do so. Cheat alittle yourself, or perhaps just use the fact I clearly knew the map better than my aptly named foe, "twat" (no seriously, that was his username).

The first kill came as I dropped off the roof of the factory (which without playing the map 1000 times you wouldnt know you can do), then through a window, out another window to land on the poor twats head, at which point I let my auto shot gun dismantal the twats brains.

Ok so I died 25 times and only killed him 3. It is horribly difficult to kill someone who is using so many cheats. A bit like killing me in Arabstreets when your anyone I've played Cs with in the past then really.

(blowing own horn - tooot tooooot)

haha

I actually feel old. Well again. Or perhaps come of age. Or some other emotion similar.

In another episode of 13twelve going literally mad to post lots in a short space of time, rather like 6 pm ish when I get home to this pc on the first few days of the week (followed by the lul in activity untll the weekend).

To the point (yes yes we WILL get there someday, sometime)

MTV is playing Teen Spirit and I sit back and go, "shit, I started listening to this band in like 1998 or 99 or something. Thats ages ago".

Yeah so I missed the whole Seatle grunge 1992 thing, I was happy with my happy hardcore back then. But at least I happily pee all over those mini mosher kids and there simply kerazee Slipknot hoodys.

Had the first (of no doubt many) snow balls thrown at my window.

Through a mix of lazyness, tiredness, busyness doing other halfs college work and most of all pity, I wont bother chasing them.

The sad thing is, is that it is the same kids throwing the snowballs as it always was. They are now 20 like me and still hang around the streets all night as they did from 8 years old.

Though one thing has come with age, it is now 21:38 and they are still out. Which means their Mommys dont want them in at 8.

Wont be getting any snowballs after 10 though....

That stupid white shit is now a mix of stupid white shit and black ice. I'm stuck here till tommorow.

Dunno if Mrs 13twelve will understand, it was barly hail stoning where she lives, but the journey home saw the weather conditions go from barly hailing to full on snow shittyness.

The roads been closed, so once again, the rare time of year when the main road outside my house has no cars going up or down at all, as everyone goes "its cold and mingy outside".

Been listening to A Perfect Circle a lot recently, well the two songs that are any good anyways and now I've just been through Radiohead's the Bends and currently on Kid A - shouts to Vagwin for these, though he wont know it - its his old computer from which I inherited the songs.

Sombre music to suit my mood now.

Its everywhere which includes the roads. Which from my drive home proved scary, as I found I neither had grip to turn, brake or accelerate without skidding towards the central reservation of the motorway.

Come on, please piss on this parade, come on rain, give it some, so I'm not stuck here and I can drive off to pick the better half up later on.

My current mobile phone contract runs out at the end of February. And there is probably 100s of reasons to change from my current providers, Singlepoint4u.

But they havnt harrassed me, upset me, ripped me off (as far as I can tell) and so being the lazy student I am I will probably stick with them.

I also have a, not fear, but definate dis like to snail mail, or post not be so sad.

So if I where to want to end my contract with singlepoint the only other option is to deliver a written note ending the contract *by hand* to the singlepoint office in Newcastle under Lyme.

And I'm just the sad case to do that. And hopefully they'll think I'm insane and end it all quickly and efficiently before I rant about my alloy wheels and bore them to death.

Muhahahah :-)

Do you speak Micra?

Though I have often been accused of talking shit, crap or rubbish - not even I speak the dribble that is Micra.

Sorry Nissan, your ad campaigne for the "Motro - Modern yet retro" Micra is poo.

It reflects badly enough on you as it is, yet I guess you did release the minging car in the first place

Fortunatly you can program the car to say "happy birthday" to you on your birthday, or any day infact, you may as well, as driving the car clearly would make you in-secure enough so that it would only be the car that wishes you a happy birthday.

(and i'm neither tired or angry, just having fun ranting)
